Add a small splash of water to the built-in reservoir, place the dome over your plate, and microwave as normal — the steam keeps food tender while the dome catches the mess. When you're done, lift it off by the cool-touch handle. To clean, just rinse and wipe, or pop it on the top rack of your dishwasher. Avoid using it in conventional or toaster ovens — it's built for the microwave.

Is it hard to clean?

The dome measures roughly 27cm wide — it fits standard plates and the vast majority of home microwaves with room to spare.
